Summer Travels Anyone?

Perhaps it's the spring air.....or maybe Minnesota cabin fever coming out, but I am SO ready to travel this summer. In my family camping is a big thing. It's economic, it's fun, you're out in the sun and now we can take the "kiddo's" too. We have tried camping before, but I was always nervous to leave the dogs back at the camp site. Even though we leave them at the house, something just seemed wrong about leaving them loose in the tent. **As a quick mention, we never go camping when it's SUPER hot, usually only in spring or fall time; I wouldn't recommend leaving your pet in the elements in the dead of summer**

I've already set it up in the family room, so Bailey & Brandi can get use to it; Bailey, who is usually timid, is even warming up to it. The real test will be to take it out to a couple events that Heel does this summer. I want to be able to bring the pups along, but there is a LOT of "stimulation" at these sorts of events, so to have a quiet place where they can get away from the crowds of people and other dogs will be very nice. If that works well, I see a camping trip in our near future!
